DIY Acne Mask

This is like magic if you’re looking for a really effective, easy, and inexpensive DIY Acne mask.

We’re not big into grains, but the oats in this recipe actually help absorb excess oils while exfoliating the surface dead skin cells which could otherwise cause irritation to the skin.  For those who are grain intolerant, you can use almond meal instead. It’s not quite as absorbent, but will exfoliate still, to keep the skin clear and smooth.

5 Ways to Get Rid Of Pimples Acne Easily

The temptation of picking, rubbing, touching and pressing your pimples runs the risk of spreading the bacteria on your skin which ultimately condones scarring and more breakouts on your skin. If you're prone to acne and wear makeup, use oil-free makeup. This is better because it won't clog up your pores as badly as other types of makeup will. Always be sure to remember to wash your face every night before you go to bed.

Fresh Lemon Juice: Daily application of fresh lemon juice (3-4 drops) on the acne scars can also help to clear this skin problem as early as possible. For severe acne scars, application of lemon juice may only lighten the scar, and might not remove it entirely. Combining this treatment option with other treatment options might be more effective to treat deep scarring caused by severe acne.

Honey & Cinnamon: Honey has the ability to provide clear, glowing skin, while cinnamon helps in eradicating pimples. Make a paste of the two and apply it on the affected area just before sleeping. Allow it to remain overnight, and wash your face the next morning.

Cucumber Facial:  Simply grate cucumber and apply it on your face regularly. This on of those home remedies for pimples, remedy that will prevent any future outbursts of pimples, blackheads, and will also keep the skin moisturized.

Cloves Yogurt Mask: Dry roast some cloves in a pan and add to a little yogurt to make a thick paste. Apply this paste on the pimples, allowing it to dry and then wash it off. The cloves help dry up the pimples and this remedy is especially effective for people with oily skin.

Vitamins: Vitamins are some of the best nutrients your body can digest. Beans and peanuts will give you a healthy dose of vitamins B5 and B6, and wheat foods are prime for folic acid. Eat plenty of whole-wheat bread, lentils, black-eyed peas, pinto beans, sunflower seeds, asparagus and spinach. Peppers, sweet potatoes, broccoli, dandelion greens, beet greens, mangoes and papayas will give you more than enough vitamin E. And parsley, cauliflower, strawberries, grapefruit, kiwi, oranges, cantaloupe, tomato, watermelon, cranberries, chili peppers and onions make it easy for you to take in a healthy level of vitamin C every day.

A Beginner’s Guide to Starting a Veg Garden

There has never been a more interesting time for edible gardening. It is right on so many levels. It saves money, saves the planet and satisfies our epicurean appetites. Edible gardening is an opportunity to grow interesting flavours fresher than money can buy. It is the key to children being more adventurous with food. If they grow it, they will eat it – and that’s exciting.

Unlike crazes of the past, such as decking and blue fences, a cohort of trowel-carrying cooks has created the current enthusiasm for home-grown. I think it’s a trend that’s here to stay. Jamie Oliver and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall have not only raised sales of vegetable seeds above those of flowers; they have brought many beginners into gardening.

Latin names are not required and the archaic notion that veg growing is a “blue job” and cooking “pink” has been booted well and truly into the long grass. In its place is an ever-expanding range of edibles bred for our plots and our pots. If you’re just starting out, here’s what you need to know.

10 Steps For How To Beautify Your Nails?

Manicure word is derived from the Latin language.” Manus” meaning Hand and “Cura” has the meaning as Care. So the basic concept is taking care of Hands which includes the nails.

Save your money by doing manicure at home. Here few steps to learn Manicure at Home.

1. Clean your nail with nail polish remover. Do not use nail polish remover of low quality as this will spoil your nails.

2. Wash your hands in lukewarm water added with hand wash liquid soap or you can use hair shampoo. Dry your hands completely by using a Hand Dryer Machine or take a towel and dry your hands completely.

3. Use nail cutter to shape your nail properly. Be careful while cutting your nail. You can give beauty effects by cutting the edge of nail in half curve way.

4. File the nails first from out to inward at one direction and not from back and forth. Your dead skin will come out and your nails will look little bigger. Filing of nail is an art. So do filing of your nail very diligently.

5. Use cuticle softener and spread it with an orange stick covered with cotton wool. If you find a hang nail or hardened skin on the cuticles, then you can use nippers to make sure it is removed.

6. Do not jerk the nippers at any given time. Do it very gently and again put your hands in lukewarm water, take the brush and wash the tips from the base to the tip.

7. Now, take out your left hand first and wipe it with a white towel. Put a little cream or oil on the hand and massage from finger to the hand. Then take out your right hand and wipe it with a white towel. Put a little cream or oil on the right hand and massage from finger to hand.

8. Now, in case you have used very oily cream then wipe the nail plate with a good quality nail polish remover. This will help when you apply a nail polish.

9. You can apply nail polish in three coats. First apply the base coats on the left hand fingers and then dry it for 5 minutes. Then apply a second coat of nail polish and then dry it for 5 minutes and then put the seal coat as a final coat on your nails.

10. Then you take your right hand and apply a base coat on the right hand fingers and then dry it for 5 minutes and then apply second coat of nail polish and dry it for 5 minutes and then put the seat coat as a final coat on your nails. In case any nail polish is found on the skin of the finger of any hand, then immediately you must remove it with a tip of an orange stick duly cover with the cotton wool soaked with a good quality nail polish remover.

36+ Affordable Handmade Gifts For Young Children

Our Christmas last year was pretty stark…when it comes to gift-giving. César got me nil, I gave César a coupon book that I made (which he still has never used!), and we gave Sofía cozy pajamas and a pink rolling backpack that came with a bear. That’s it. We didn’t even have a tree until my sister-in-law (who was living with us at the time) brought up her 2 1/2 foot tree, and we promptly put it on top of our media storage cabinet. We didn’t want the little terror to become even more of one.
